Navigation in GNSS-Denied Environments Using MEMS-Grade Sensors and Geophysical Anomalies: A Particle Filter Approach

A particle filter formulation for GNSS-denied navigation using MEMS-grade inertial sensors aided by geophysical map matching. The filter treats gravity anomaly, magnetic anomaly, and bathymetry as measurement sources against pre-existing global maps, and is evaluated on trajectories from the accompanying open MEMS navigation dataset.
